Just got my first nice pocket knife. A Spyderco Delica 4. Haven't fallen in love yet but I can see it happening.

Yeah I have good kitchen knives but never a good pocket knife. I did a lot of research and this one seemed like a good fit. So far so good. But not the same "love at first carry/use" as some of my axes or my 550xp.

WHAAATT!! This isn't a knife forum??? What the %$## am I doing here then??? Sorry.

I see you are in God's country too, so I have to ask (as Spydercos aren't available local to me, at least that I can find) is where did you get yours? I'd rather not order online, however, I just may have to.

There is another website called "Warriors and Wonders"(actually there are quite a few, believe me I have researched till my eyes bled) out of Vancouver that has reasonable prices, another point of price reference.

Yeah, I nearly ordered from them. But Amazon was same day delivery. There's another knife I'm looking at...and Warriors and Wonders has good price. I'll get it from them. But need to wait a bit before buying it. Wife might get annoyed. :D

You probably already know this, but check other sites' prices before ordering from amazon.ca, as they have a tendency to price gouge. I bought an electronic Bat controler from amazon.com at $40 US. Delivered for less than 50 bucks total. The same device from .ca was $250, so I always check the .com site as well as others before ordering from .ca.

Pocket knife? Any of the Victorinox knifes have worked for me, for years. Handy, versatile, lots of gadgets. On my hip, would go a Leatherman multi-tool. Gotta love the pliers.

I have a flashlight fetish, I just love having the power to light up the night when I want or need to. A must have up to camp.
