Thanks but I'd prefer it to be a fantastic finish! I may extend the deadline to the end of April. With all the other wood I've scrounged I've neglected the BL. Too much rain hasn't helped.

Maybe a half cord from my Manic Monday score. Barkless rounds staged. Pushing three cord for the thread. IMG_5196.JPG IMG_5197.JPG IMG_5200.JPG IMG_5201.JPG Remote chance of cutting more this week, if not this weekend.

3 cords for the thread? You best get out there in the pouring 40 degree rain this week if you want to be where you were at for last year's BL thread! 4 more cords Brad and you've got a week to make it happen! :p

LOL!!! Luckily 7 cords (shhhhhhhh) wasn't the goal this year. Honey holes are starting to dry up with the volume I need. Too bad I didn't live closer to Bristol! ;)

Hit another honey hole today for a quick cut. Bucked a bigger blowover from a May 2018 storm. Nicely weathered and clean. 462 hasn't seen action in some time. IMG_5212.JPG IMG_5214.JPG My exclusive BL storage was inaccessible so had to go to main storage for now. IMG_5215.JPG Cutting another load tomorrow.

Thanks. In a perfect world all the dead, down BL I harvested would be like this. Bark free and washed clean by mother nature. The section of trunk I bucked was entirely off the ground.

Hit a new honey hole yesterday. Blowovers, tops, and some clean up wood from an August 2020 storm. IMG_5258.JPG IMG_5259.JPG IMG_5260.JPG IMG_5261.JPG IMG_5262.JPG IMG_5263.JPG IMG_5264.JPG IMG_5265.JPG More there. Don't know when I'll be back. Four cords current tally. Going to extend the thread until months end.

Hit the honey hole again from post #30 above. IMG_5305.JPG IMG_5306.JPG Before and after stack picks. IMG_5307.JPG IMG_5308.JPG Roughly 4 1/3 cords for the thread. At least a couple more cuts before months end.
