I can help out a little here; not my saw, but a customers. Unlimited coil, RWJcarb, good muffler mod:
That sounds awesome. The 461 and 661 are ones I want to play with. You would think with quad transfers there's potential there like a husky
I'll have to fire up some of the toys for this thread! I've got nothing like you guys but I'm sure everyone still likes to watch and listen. Here's a little demo I did the other day for a little 445 I sold to a fellow hoarder
I have to give a little back story on my Ecsaws 357... Wood Wolverine has been slowly converting me to Husky since the day I met him lol. I could see they were fast, but I had an awesome Stihl dealer and was quite happy with my creamsicles. After seeing and running Jason's EC 346, I knew I had to send Eric at ECsaws my nos 357. Jason got it all got arranged, and I have to say it is the coolest saw in my stable. You can tell it is "special" even at idle. I have less than a gallon of mix through it, and every time I take it out, it picks up a little more speed/power. I am a firm believer in heat cycle varying load break ins, and rode it like you stole it style. I have it tuned fat @13,800 and use plenty of good oil in my mix. I expect as the wood thaws out, and the saw breaks in some more, it will make some pretty interesting vids by early summer. Thanks to Jason & Eric for showing me the light!
Thanks Duane it was a pleasure working with you !! You have to becarefull with those 357's those crank stuffers will kick a porters azz if your not careful. I think you would really like a 562
