Dry Creek - "the ash pan is full already... shut it down" Infernos - "is the stove eve on? it's freezing in here!" NEWP - "is the stove even on? it's freezing in here AND the ash pan is full already".
Curran's blend was only beaten as worst pellet by TSC pine bedding pellets (the dark ones, they didn't have light ones). Everything else has been okay, but I burn pretty much crap pellets anyway.
Original Infernos. Only pellet I ever burned where the ash actually bubbled. Seriously. Crazy bad batch of FSUs last season. So bad, I refused to burn the last few bags. Left a large wall of rock-like substance in the burn pot. Gave a few bags to Birddog91 to see if he had the same experience with them. Still waiting to hear... NEWPs from the Schuyler plant. Could not get a decent flame or heat from them.
Appling Cty - " Hey, it's cold in here...I can see my breath.......turn the !#&*ing stove on!!......What do you mean it's been on high all day??"
I'm not one to talk bad about any pellet company trying to make a buck... but. We burn just about everything we can get our hands on to see how they compare. A few years back we picked up a skid of a brand that I won't name . But they were just about the only pellet that shut our stove down every single day. The burnt toast was not EASY to chisel off. The HEAT was nonexistent. They were the worst pellet that we've ever burned. But being a glutton for punishment and thinking maybe we did something wrong, we bought another skid of them. The good news is that they're consistent. I'm shocked that no one hasn't mentioned them yet. They're the cheapest pellet on the market in this area. That being said, you don't even get what you pay for.
I have both. Havent burned either. I expect terrible from the easy heats and I have high expectations from easy blaze
I hope they are better for you than they were for me.... ★★☆☆☆ - Easy Heat Wood Pellets (Review) | Firewood Hoarders Club
I do remember a fella saying they should have been called that brand heatless, But they were so easy to get he couldn't resist. Kind of cheap too IIRC!!
sooooooooo Joe, which pellets would you rate as the best you burned? or is that a trick question for a pellet dealer?
