How-boy. Almost out of firewood, plus, I let the OWB get down o low, so I shut it down overnight.
About once a season, I like to do an ash cleaning, so today was the day. Up and going now for the twenty something temps.

temps were perfect for CSS, though. Found two blow down maples not far from the house, so I went at them. Have enough for the rest of the month now, and plan to take a day off sometime this week.

at some point, the Mule needs to be taken in for its 500 hours service interval. so I gotta get enough in to cover the week or so it’s gone.

Hey all, been away a quick second..

Been an interesting winter to be sure.

Once winter came, it's been a "good" one.

Made a rookie move, and forgot to treat the diesel for the 'Bota, which put it out of commission till a decent thaw.
    :emb:

Been moving a bit of snow, and now that the tractor is back in the mix, I've been able to clear some snow mounds.

Been listening to audio books while working, a "bit" less surfing.

Hope things are well for the FHC family.

Split some wood for Edwin yesterday for a couple of hours. New splitter seems to be dialed in well but need to change the oil at 7 hours of use. Kind of mean as I don't bother to stack it for him. Use the excuse that I can't meet his standards of stacking.

Nice looking chair. I like the part about the arm rest being able to lift up. When I drop something on the floor, I can't learn over to pick it up because my arm rest do not move. I am getting a new chair also. I'm heavy so I have to get one designed for big guys. Plus I want one with the leg rest on it. I have ordered mine. Will be here later this month.

So you know, my wife works for one of the worlds largest office furniture makers. I know we can get you a deal on a chair from the company store. They are considered blems but on the one she bought we can't see anything.

We got a few days of warmer weather. Some sun also. Got up to 54F on Sat. But this morning when I took the dog out, it was 8F Good part was no wind. Should be above freezing later this week. here we are half way through Feb. Could get another 2 months of winter, or maybe it will go away mid March like it has often done before. Never know. Too early. No trends set yet. I am hoping some of this artic air will kill off some of the bad bugs like the brown tail moth.

That would be super. Realizing I've had 3 surgeries on my back and 3 hip replacements, It has to be padded and comfortable. Perhaps we could get together yet this spring and go there.

I'll be checking with here on it. Hers is super comfortable. Its mesh with adjustments all over it. Even lumbar. They also come in different sizes depending on the person. She has a small. Because she's the size of a 12 year old. Lol.

The super bowl had a good game. I didn't care for the pregame discussion about the hiring practices for coaches. Much too political for discussion prior to games. I also didn't care at all for the half time show. I'm not into hip hop. That stuff looked like it was targeted towards city folks, young ones. All one theme. I was told that the half time performances celebrities are not paid. I also read that the seats for the game went from 4,000 to 50,000 dollars. Wasn't my team playing, but they did have a good game.
