These traps prevent the skunk from spraying..
If they cannot lift their tails, they cannot spray..
    Pretty clever design..

That was the impetus of the purchase.

The kids caught a skunk in a live trap..

Sprayed all over....they tossed a plastic tarp over the trap and wrapped it up.

Hauled the critter to the woods about 5 miles away and let it go...

The Son in law put on his "foul weather gear" including rubber boots before engaging yonder skunk...

    No thanks

Ran the big stove all night last night....sure nice to crawl out to a cozy shack....

Looks like I got the adjustment in the groove now and the heat level is spot on, as is the fire size at the heat setting.

I just have a feeling winter is going to be a nasty one...

I can state that some skunks just lose it when they croak some don't which is why I asked, those are Maine skunks ask JT about CT skunks.

I have to admit that I wanted for Sep to end before I lit up the stove. Mostly for the excuse that I needed to do a cleaning . Got a lazy flame. So yesterday I did the leaf blower thing. Now things seem to be right. So now we have ignition and this burning season has officially started for the Smith family.
