This one is pretty productive and looks easy to fabricate. The secret seems to be in the triangular design and slow feed so a lot of pieces of wood are split at once.

I use a poke of kindling, but I also burn a lot of coal. A quick, hot fire is really nice to get coal going. Mostly, kindling machines are for the camp wood market!
well started the process bought a5 ton electric spliter last week bunnings had the ryobi out for 1/2 price at 248 so now to work on a multi wedge will get some pics up when its all sorted
