    Broke my X27 last year and they replaced it. Couple members here suggested i make a pickeroon so i did.

    I have a Stihl hookaroon and just picked up a homemade hookaroon off CL while on vac in da UP. Love them both.

    I do not use a pickeroon for picking up logs. To my estimation they were not designed for that and although you can use one that way, it does not work very well. But if you try a good log tong, bingo! Makes the work much easier.

    I have a Stihl(Logrite) hookaroon that I use almost every time I am cutting or splitting. I was given a Fiskars short hookaroon and I do not like it. It doesn’t have enough weight to stick into the wood.

    Ditto with mine. I did the exact same thing with my busted Fiskars. I’m asking Santa for this...

    buzz-saw gave me an extra he had hanging around. Works much better. Use it mostly for unloading but sometimes like today ill stab rounds to carry to the truck. Not sure of the brand IMG_4258.JPG
