don2222, that is a sweet hearth pad with the storage underneath. I may have to build one of those.

Glad the new impeller seems to be helping so far. Very interesting thread.

Thanks, it also has built in led rope light under the top edge for viewing and I installed a gimble can light to shine on the stove to help in cleaning and for the showcase look. :)
Since I put the air conditioner over the stove built into the wall, I have to install the TV to the right of it.
Got all the Woodwaves floating TV stand and wires in except for 13 speaker wires including the 2 subs.
See big install Thread. Just ordered some speaker jacks. Not bad for under $1k then I have to save my money to buy the TV and Radio!

keep burning.Draft drops more with combustion, the wood releases oxygen which expands rapidly.in test mode, the test number will be much higher,as soon as flame starts, gauge number will drop.lower the number of the "burning" number, the possible more heat you will have in your house, but if it gets too low, will cause build up,not really possible with a harman.

actually, it IS possible. Ive seen folks with issues where for some reason or another, the vac switch shut the power to the igniter and feed motor. The customers, doing some self-diagnoses, correctly came to the conclusion that the vac switch was the culprit, assumed it was faulty, and rather than replace it, wired around it. Vac switches are rarely the issue...its actually doing what its supposed to- shut the stove down if the negative pressure is inadequate. So, then we have a stove running poorly, depositing crap all over the inside of the stove and the pipe. Chimney fire in the making.

yea.....with the newer units, there is a larger range in voltage that once can adjust with the pot.....but, anything more than -12v seems to make the thing run wonky and less optimal.....why? Maybe because as we approach the vac switch shutoff point, the stove is more susceptible to flyash and soot......just a guess though.

Does the fact that I have 126.5v at the outlet give me more play. Both of my stoves have very high draft numbers so I'm just curious as to wether if not the high voltage at the outlet has an effect or does the control board already see that

Just thought I would update you all. Tonight is the first night I've had a fire in the advance in almost 3 weeks since I swapped out the exhaust impeller. Stove is burning so good. Roasting some turmans and it fired up with an awesome flame basement was at 59 and had it up to 70 in no time. Thanks again for all your input. Happy camper here

Well, now that temp. has dropped, mine has less draft, running .23 on the gauge,on full high flame burn. Not gonna mod anything, just gonna leave the hi altitude impeller in.It does use a bit more pellets, but haven't cleaned glass since put in the impeller.(does need cleaning now,but not horrible).I could dink with it and split the difference on the readings/burn,but not worth it,for burning just a few more pellets.Gonna leave it all harman, stock.Cold heavy air does make a difference.

keep an eye on the gauge, as it gets dirtier, draft can decrease, and your vac switch will kill power to the feed motor and igniter between -.15 and -.17 in.

Yea I have noticed that before, with the smaller impeller.Last year I even just cleaned impeller, not stove, just to see how much difference it could make, was a good bit. But,am not gonna modify an impeller just to make it "perfect" the trade off for burning a bit more pellets is worth the cleanliness. It is not way overdrafting like some ussc stoves have been known to do.
