Good afternoon! I'm playing catch up with a 4 day work week (I'm not complaining!). This is the last of the super hot, humid days for a while. Back into the lower 80s for the remainder of the week. I have a misting fan to set up and try in the barn to see if it makes things more bearable. Probably no more work in the woodyard until the weekend. I still have several logs to cut and move to the splitting station. That will wait for cooler weather.

Good morning everyone! Brandon and T.Jeff in a rainfall competition, we get ours on Friday. For now it is dry, so I'll make the most of it. Got to sweep the patio, so stuff doesn't wash into the pool. Also process locust.

Morning All. Overcast this morning. We are up early and headed out to get some firewood. Hope to be back before the sun gets too warm where we are going. Here in town, the overcast isn't burning off until 1:00 PM and coming back around 5:00 PM. Makes for a grey day.

Happy Wednesday! AC is broken in my building. Currently 78* in my office. Still hot out today with rain moving in. On day 3 of sinuses so I probably won't accomplish much after work. Have a God day!

Good late morning.. Just reg stuff.. Barbaras Dr yesterday and drug store this morning. Hoping to get her more relaxed but not to tired. Darn fridge in the house is acting up so I have the small shop one defrosted yesterday and will get it cleaned up today so its ready. Just going to do house work now and go get drinking water tomorrow. Wallmart was closed for a week for food pickup but we are in now for Sunday.. Glad of that. I hope you all enjoy the day and be safe.

 

We did have a great time. Our local logging railway was shutdown a few years ago after a tragic accident. Last year they started pulling up all the rails and ties. They have a great big pile of ties. The ties aren't pressure treated as they are made from yellow cedar. So we went and got a load this morning very early before the overcast burnt off.
