Nope. Drove by it again a little while ago and still there. No saw and rain down here. This weekend. I have to build a quick homeless shelter for locust!
I know that at one time there were a couple homeless living down there by the RR tracks right near the wood ; maybe you could stack it at their shelter.
He about this for a plan...? 2 guys in a pickup, both named buzzsaw. One is driving, the other in the passenger seat holding a chainsaw that has been warmed up so it will start on the first rip.(probably should use a husky) The buzzsaw driving approaches said locust score at a slow crawl and the other bails out with chainsaw in hand. Buzzsaw with saw quickly proceeds to the objective and begins to buck the subject into manageable rounds. Meanwhile the buzzsaw in the pickup drives around the block repeatedly. Each time he approaches the score he slows the pickup down to a crawl while the buzzsaw on the ground pitches a round or perhaps two (depending on speed) into the back of the pickup. Repeat until all the desired wood is loaded. Driver circles the block once more, turning on the hazard flashers & slows to a stop while leaning over & opening the door for the buzzsaw on the ground to quickly hop back in. Then the 2 buzzsaws can safely proceed to a processing area & divy up the booty! You’re welcome
just following up for anyone following. I got the wood yesterday morning. Posted thread Mission: ACCOMPLISHED!
