I'm still unclear of what you are talking about. It is really tough to help you when I don't know what you are talking about. I asked for some details last night and I still haven't seen any.

There you go, that is helpful. I know that a lot of the threads that were recently started just to stir up trouble have been removed.

Your the one with the delete button, not me.

It looks like a member was able to answer my question.

    Thanks for nothing

Yep, I am one of 9 people with a delete button. Doesn't mean I know what happened to anything specific. Heck, a while back we actually had half a thread somehow get moved to a different forum. Members were able to provide enough info that I was able to located it and restore the thread. The difference is they weren't hostile and suspicious and were actually willing to tell me what they meant.

Covered my tracks? I pulled the info you objected to and deleted the posts that make you sound like an azz. You should be thankful. I have to admit that I chuckled a bit that the next post in that thread was an AMSOIL customer reporting a positive experience. I didn't put him up to it, I swear.

But my quote was there, so if a member looked they would wonder. Sure honest mistake. What ever.

    No need to cuss.

Now, why should I be thankful?

No one covered tracks.. Your 50 posts were removed when 3 threads were deleted.

The CSFT, Awesome 362, and 40% thread. All from the same person.

If a thread disappears? Every one who had a post (Or multiple posts ) will lose that number of posts they had.

You had a lot of posts there.

No conspiracy theories. Threads that are full of banter and bullchit get deleted. I see a couple up now that will likely see that feature being used. Especially threads where staff is the butt of the joke.

SquareFile, DexterDay summed it up to a "T". When we have a thread go completely off the rails (as in the case of several threads like the "362" thread), which IMO went totally in the tank with ridiculousness, the staff takes a vote if we keep it or delete it. No "one" person makes that call. In several threads we made that decision. Everyone involved in those threads lost their posts in those threads. That's just the way the software is, when a post is deleted it also removes that number from the post count of all users involved in the thread. If I had 10 posts in a deleted thread, I lose 10 posts from my total count if that thread is deleted.

Same thing goes for when a member is deleted, any "likes" he gave people will also go with them....
