Dan, Thumbs up to you and Henry. Great prices on those Canadian softies. I'd be buying if you were closer. So when are ya opening a shop in Northwestern CT? Just a few? A pig would be stashing a few more than just a few! How many tons can you stuff in the bunker? Don't forget the other half or she might ya and you'll look like the rest of us!!
Already got 5.5 ton, a full tank of oil with oil under 2 bucks/gal and we are wearing sunglasses. Unfortunately need the elsewhere. Though not saying I am not still considering more
I found Somersets for $184.50 at Menards got 3 ton this weekend. I have 1 ton Pro Pellets, 3 tons Somersets in the basement and a ton of some TSC stuff in reserve at my warehouse and out of my hair if I need them in the spring. I like unloading pellets when it is 50 degrees out instead of 10 and snowing, I may have to actually start doing this every year.
Not a deal per se, just posting for everyone's FYI - Keene NH Home Depot - FSU, $259.00 / ton, looked like new stock. Now THAT is a deal !
DexterDay was trying to get me to open a credit card to get additional savings on these when I talked to him about their pricing. Then I was kicking around the idea of getting it in my company's name so I was tax exempt but I just paid for them and was done with it. Menards isn't the quality of products that I would buy for my business and if I wanted some cheaper tools, I have Lowes, HD and Harbor Freight way closer than this store to me. I did get some big azz metal sawzall blades for cutting nails on pallets for my winter projects. They have to be every bit of 15" long.
Are they insane? It almost seems that in NewEngland prices are higher than anywhere else. What's so special about our local trees?
You did well even without going to Menards and getting the extra 11%. My local Farm and Home is back up to around $260- $265 a ton. When I was in KY this weekend hunting I stopped at the local TSC. They had over 80 ton of Somersets and they were $3.99 a bag!! Even for $200 a ton that is a steal!! I bought 6 ton of Stove Chow last year because they hit $199 and I wish they were as good as Somersets. Good pellet, but Somersets are my local favorite !
Come on over and get some Bro...I got a bunch at 3.99 with the 11% rebate. At least I was told I was getting the rebate, no Menards card in the mail yet!
Keep that popcorn warm TT - looks like next Monday or Tuesday earliest, when I collect our youngest daughter from UNH Durham for Thanksgiving break. ( McManus fuels is 1.5 hrs. from Stoddard /en-route to UNH Durham - fuel savings combining trips help keep the overall costs down. ) Just too busy w/ work this week otherwise. Busy is good!
Pellet prices staying low. That is one scary stack. Not sure why anyone would want bags of water logged pellets.
