Find some SP near you or get your azz over to McManus and grab a few bags to try out first but IMHO if you can get Spruce Pointe at 239, dont bother with either of these. The difference between Spruce Pointe and LaCrete has been negligible with Lacrete being just a hair better but not at that price.
Sorry for not getting back sooner... At this time... no. Thanks so much for all the "good comments" on the Sprucies... They are almost gone... Dan
They are great pellets. Too bad on Kittery, I could have sold a few pallets for ya. Will you be getting more at this price? If not, what will the new pricing be?
Thanks - I should have some test bags to run through here, if they rate for the "Mrs. Cleanfire" good pellet seal, that's the plan, at least a ton. * The trailer is a smaller 4x8 utility (snowmobile) trailer, can safely haul 1,000 lbs. on it, and 1,000 lbs distributed in the '08 Taurus, so (1) ton at a time without issue.
Yeah, I better make that call ASAP. Would be nice to score bulk under $250, but that's the nice thing about McManus Fuels, lots of good pellets reasonably priced, not too worried about not coming back without some product.
Thanks much for that feedback G ! * Any new pellet has to be fully vetted & approved by Mrs. Cleanfire though - allergies to certain Pine species. Happy Wife, Happy Life ..
We are getting more... Henry put in a "hurry up call" this afternoon... Price? I think they will be the same, at least for now.... If not, the Platinums will still be at the $249. Got more of those coming too. They were scheduled to go up... but the uncertainty of delivery on the Pointes just keeping them at $249... Just want to have a real good pellet, less than the two BBS within a few miles of us!! Not trying to get into strategies, but trying to get people in that ONLY shop price, and liking what they get, is amazing how many people come back and say... 'wow'... I'm not going back to those xx pellets... Not all of them of course.... but if you get a percentage of those trying, to come back for the long haul... it was worth it. I was there this morning, and 6 ton of the Pointes went out in no time. If two of those come back, because they are happy.... new customers! Will let you know when we get more.. Dan
Well, if you are planning on getting the LaCrete and LG from Mcmanus, I would suggest ordering 2 pallets of SP if he will hold them. Get some trial bags somewhere and if they dont pass the test then you can change the order. Only thing is if Dan/Henry go for this dont take too much time to get that test done. Not fair to a dealer holding stock late November
-Thanks much- for the feedback Dan, will give Henry a call and see if there are any bag sales / test bags available for purchase. ( Good to know you guys are trying to keep the costs down, that is always appreciated by me. ) Kind Regards, Rob
The person I am thinking of has a Chevy Avalanche. We have done 1 ton pallets with the Chevy, 1.2 might be pushing the envelope. I might be able to get a few pallets to my workplace and have them grab them from there.
