Ordered two tons of Sets at $249/ton, last month and got the call on Friday that I could pick them up. Wasted NO time. Today I hauled them and all stashed for the upcoming 2016-17 season. Price is now $259/ton, but they have more available now at Long Pond in Wauregan. My first purchase from them and Steve is a good guy.....Going back the week of T'Giving and grabbing one more. A pig is a pig is a pig is a pig is a pig.............

Sweet score Auggie, and you can't beat the price in this area! If I had any room in my bunker, I would have picked up a ton myself. Jumped on too many fire sales at the end of last season, though. Not that I regret that!

If the product is dry, this looks like a good deal.

Took a bag to burn off the top of the ton. Flawless. The Sets folks know how to wrap a ton. And these were handled well, which is the other half of the equation. As I was re-stacking them on my porch, not a single broken or wet bag.

Here's a nice deal. McManus has added Spruce Pointe to their lineup. Introductory price $239/ton, or $286 for a full 1.2 ton pallet.

I'm thinking CleanFire needs to hook up his trailer and go get some of the SP's! Maybe a bag or two would fall off at my house as he is heading back home :D

I took advantage of the day off and checked out some pellet prices. KMart has PTL hardwood for $249/ton but $6.99/bag. Walmart has Northeast pellets for $249. Not worth it. The Depot had FSU's for $259.

I also took a ride to check out my dealers new place. Holy chit! What a store! He has 20 stoves hooked up to 10 chimneys. Wood, gas, and pellet. He also has some decent prices on pellets. Crabbe $240. Cubex $260. He thinks these are last years leftovers as they just raised their price. Platinum $269. And Lacrete $289. I plan to grab some Crabbe and Platinum to try once the cold weather sets in.
