The caffeine is flowing. Wife won't return until late tonight, so the three kids and I will be hanging together today. More work to get done on the inside of barn. And most importantly, all the house work will be done by all of us before Mom gets home. :handshake: I'll let the kids sleep in a little while and get some done in the peace and quiet.

Going to work a few hours and later today we are heading down to Brook’s Barbecue in Oneonta. Boy, that’s some good eating! If you ever travel through Oneonta you have to stop at Brook’s!

Monin... :coffee::coffee:... mower deck is cleaned and stored... bucket goes back on today. Gonna carry a small pile of dirt, from the old raised beds, down into the woods along the trail. Plenty of places to lose the fill in many sags. Slow but steady work... 1000 times better'n a shovel... :dex:

I really can't complain about snakes. It's not like leoht or others in snakier places have it.

Although, speaking of anacondas, I would be remiss if I didn't bring up this....

    Lol.

Completely understandable. A few hours in a big city and I start feeling claustrophobic.

Seriously, though, you'll have to get over the snakes if you want to get the good stuff.

Not around here. Yes, we have snakes, and some are poisonous. But they really are not very common, the copperheads and timber rattlers. Regular snakes are common, but they don't bother me.

You could always go to Alaska, where there are no snakes.
