over here in england, our hunting for squirrels is all year no closed season. they are a big pest i have had many as 15 in woods on a saturday morning,we have a no limet on them.just go out and fill your boots with them.i shoot a lot in a year.how many a day can you shoot.
I think it's like 10 or 15 here? I have to look I could be wrong. I am not a big squirrel hunter anyway.
i shoot on 1 farm here in england, and there is loads of them, each time i go there i all ways get 5 or 6.and i shoot over 20 farms over here.
I guess a hold over from when many hunted them??? But yea if your totally ignorant and going to o erhunt an area if you kill 10 a day for a few weeks you can do it easy. Guys I know that love hunting them will only hunt a certain spot a few times a year and won't kill to many in one spot, so that they can have a place next year.
we ended up killing 201 squirrels, 3 coons, 3 possums and 1 armadillo between Christmas and March 1st. And when I say killed, that is how many we laid on the tailgate of the truck. When you count the ones we shot that got stuck in a tree, nest, or hole we had way more than that. but I only count them if we put them in the bag and take'm to the truck
Yep only counts if you get your hands in them. Sane as when I dove hunt. I may limit out with 12 but I usually kill a few more than that that I can't find. And that's legitimate, not like give to a buddy or whatever.
here in england, we have wood pigeons they are bigger then your doves.they have a white bar on there necks, we put decoys out to decoy them in.when the wheat, and barley. and rape is cut they come in after the left overs what the combine spits out, realy good shoots, shoot as many as you like, all year round.one man over here shot 700 in one day.they will eat there own body weight in food a day.thats why we have to shoot them hard.
went out after tree rats today, but with the leaves fully out on the trees you have a job to see them.so coming to a end till october when the leaves fall off.
Do you know what I'm talking about? Not the predator mamal, but wolf's are what we call the fly that lays it's eggs on the squirrel and the larvae grows beneath the skin till it's bumped up to the size of an almond then it busts out as like a worn. And leaves a wound.
