had a few guys over to waste a little time near some chainsaws friday - we went through about 10 feet of clean bark-less 15" diameter cottonwood and ran more than 20 saws, all ported except the stock 372XP we use as a reference and a cool old School Pioneer P42 Hi Performance. all vids should be short and sweet, most saws had more than one guy run them and we have vastly different cutting styles
I can't believe I just found this thread. I don't have many vids of my saws, but here's one of Scott K with my MS361. I so wish I could run this with some of Jason's The Wood Wolverine 's ~60 cc. Huskies. Too bad I'll miss PA GTG this Fall. Unfortunately, I broke my foot soon after I got this saw back. I've run like 1/2 a tank through it and so far and I'm impressed. This thing revs high AND keeps up the RPM's in the cut. It is significantly lighter than my MMWS MS461 (LOVE that saw, TOTAL BEAST-MODE).
mike bayerl I've run Scott's work, it speaks for itself! I'd imagine you have a new favorite saw... Andrew's Hacked Up 365 Special is an absolute wood eating machine (beast mode)! mdavlee did an awesome job on it, amazing how different from stock. We both love running it. It's the only tru 60 class saw we have. That being said, my DozerDan 357 (57cc) used to be the favorite saw. My 346 that ECsaws worked over is quickly becoming the new go to. Fattened up the tune a little for farwood duty and it's an angry little saw that takes no prisoners. Light and nimble and with an awesome chain it's a deadly combo. Handling is perfection IMO. And for the necessary saw video, probably my favorite Husky.
