Pelpro Pellet Jam caused new style round 2 RPM Auger Motor to leak grease. Is the auger motor bad? C

    The grease can be wiped off and then the 2 RPM round auger motor can be tested with the Quadra-Fire Adapter and AC test cord.
    It tested good see timer with test setup here!

    The grease can be easily replenished. In fact I would check and add grease every 3 years to keep it properly maintained and replace the bronze auger bushing if it is scored or broken. See pics below

    Pic 3 - Remove the 3 bottom Phillip head screws to see the gears.
    Pic 4 - Gears with a little less grease
    Pic 5 - Adding some Red & Tacky grease from Home Depot with Grease Gun
    Pic 6 - Smooth and push grease into gears
    Pic 7 - All done and good as new!
