FYI--- I installed a Huztl/Farmertec short block assembly in an 029super. I was pretty happy with the quality of everything except the rings. As Scotty mentioned, toss the supplied rings and get Caber or OEM.
The saw has 6 tanks or so through it. I havent had much time on it since the rebuild... My dad has it and im hoping he will put some gas through it soon.
Ill update the AM thread once we get some more time on it.

I did use the supplied circlips as they were already installed and seemed ok. However, I rotated them so the open portion is at 12 exactly... They didnt come like that from factory.
For circlips: OEM, non-eared Meteor, and some Hyway (in that order of preference).

Lad to hear you liked the farmertec! What didn't you like about the rings? Was there noticeable differences in how the saw ran with those rings as opposed to OEM?

The rings were very brittle and just junk compared to oem or caber. I've seen better rings from Hyway but havent used em yet since caber rings are so cheap.
I didnt even run the rings from the kit. Actually I broke one removing it and used it to clean gunk up for the rest of the build. I bet theyd work ok (maybe a bit lower comp) and I think weimedog has used Farmertec rings for other models with no issues (yet lol).

You can get cabers for like $5-9 I would buy them there are too many folks that say there junk to chance running them if I were you. Caber can be found on e bay the guy who has best deal is out of greece.

Huztl (vendor) sells Farmertec stuff for sure. All of the Hyway stuff ive used has been packaged as Hyway...Im not sure either way, but Ive been told Hyway is made in China/Taiwan and are usually "higher grade" parts. They very well could be coning from the same factory, though. Maybe Def Dave, Duke, or Watsonr have more info.

Yupp that's right. The Greek is usually a dollar or two cheaper than domestic sellers. The best is wait for a weedeaterman coupon and stock up from him.
