Latest twist in the plot. Found a cast iron Enviro Meridian on a for sale page. Stove doesn’t work properly but the price was at a point I felt I could gamble. 4 hour round trip later it’s at the house. Will be at least a week before I can mess with it. The young fella that had it said it worked great till it didn’t and he felt burning wood was more in his ball park. Hoping it’s something simple.
Well, my guess is the unit will need a DEEP clean, check that both blowers are clean & spinning free, etc. Since it's not installed yet, I'd recommend a LBT while it's out in the driveway or backyard, etc.
