Royal Fireside in Mendon was selling Northern Warmth but switched to Okies. They have some NW leftover and only have Okanagan Platinum right now but it sounds like that's all that American Biomass has available. They said the Okies and NW are not the same product at all.... and a little googling shows that statement on Okanagan's website saying the two brands are separate
Okay so Jimmy at RF said they buy from American Biomass, and they're just waiting on Okanagan Douglas Fir but expects it in April or so. Okie Plats are $7.25/bag and $299/ton. You can pick them up yourself or have them delivered for $45 for one ton, $60 for 2 tons, and it goes up from there. Their phone number is 508-473-6610
Seems so far that's the only place that has the new Okies that this entire forum knows of.....those pellets are the Chupacabra of the pellet world.
Well I ain't sacrificing no freakin Goat to burn any pellets, regardless of brand. That's just crazy. edit: If it was Olympus DF, maybee.
Talk 'bout low ash.... Probly not many out there that you only have to empty your ash pan only once or twice.. Dan
Only problem is that I have to give all of my info before they will locate a dealer for me. Would be more tempted to inquire if it would just go by zip code. I work quite a ways from home, and am in another part of the state frequently, so I would want to check 3 different areas of the state - just think how a zip code search would be really useful for many people.
