    Had to move some wood out of the barn as need to do repairs on it because of wind damage. moving it here into the boiler house for next years heat. 7 loads made just over 9 cord. The mighty 1/2 ton survives again. ;)

    Is that a fir?

    What's with all the Forest Service blue paint on it? Is that their marks showing that it's allowed to be bucked into far wood , so that if someone stops you they CAn see the whole tree was marked?

    It was marked 'DO NOT CUT' and then that was crossed out... and yes, it is a Douglas Fir. It's actually pretty decent firewood around here.

    Anything to save fuel from extra trips, environment is the main concern....:dex: My suspension is called frame flex and air pressure in the tires!

    Haha we don't either. I saw some baby ones when in school. And from what I have seen of it on TV and in pictures plus his area, I assumed.

    This was yesterday... I wish I would have snapped the pic with the cinder blocks on the trailer. Had about 60 blocks (58??) and 2 yards of top soil on the trailer.
