    the wood ducks are they born it trees, and when older have to jump from tree into the water.at some hight.

    Yes, hens pick a cavity in a tree to nest and the babies jump from the tree to the forest floor.

    Many people in my area put up wood duck nesting boxes if they have a pond or stream near by. Lots of conservation groups also put up nesting boxes.

    870 magnum of course. I don't like the taste of ducks and since my old Chesapeake is not alive anymore I shoot these guys now!

    We don't eat them of course but I have shot dozens of them. Regular old #8 shells into the moving mound. I've never seen a mole come above ground and surface. I always dig them out for the satisfaction and have noticed that very often there is no damage to the mole. I think the shockwave might be enough to kill them.

    The fur is very soft and remarkably clean considering they roll around in the dirt all day.

    i have just seen in a gun shop near me, they have a remington 870 express,3 shot for sale £275,now they are a good gun.may pop down and have a look later.
