Alas. A sudden trip to the hospital, NOT firewood related, waylaid me. I will post some pics when I can. For now, I’m on light duty at home. Perhaps some tough “motor scooters” on here can split wood with a Foley catheter, but I’ve not graduated to that level of insanity - yet.
Ps Thanks, all, for the warm welcome. We used to do battle with invasive Brazilian pepper on our little bit of land in FL. I come up to WI and now it’s buckthorn. The mission to eradicate it from our land is more Don Quixote than St. George and the Dragon, but we’ll do (and CSS) what we can. Best, tsl

I'll share a few more photos here. Saturday I dropped two more trees at #2 Son and his Wife's house as we make room to add a 2nd garage. An Ash and a Maple. Builder helped with his dump trailer to haul brush away. I got a nice trailer load of wood and my brother, who was otherwise occupied, got a pick truck load. With help from my wife after we got home we split and stacked some more of the wood I already had here and some of the "new" wood. After work yesterday I split the rest of "new" wood. Thought it was going to rain today so threw a tarp over it. It needs to get wheelbrrowed to and stacked on a pallet.

Not sure where else to ask this so ..... Is there a way to search members by location? I will also ask here, as long as I already hijacked the thread, is there a member living near Montrose MN? I was out at my son and daughter in-laws house this weekend. As strange as this sounds one of the neighbors has a wood pile the look familiar. I may have seen it posted on this site lol. Now you will think I Am Crazy. Just curious. Have a good day.
There's an FHC map which shows where members are located but thats only if they add it when they join. Maybe Moderating can help you out.
Ok, I found the FHC Map. However at least on my MacBook I get an error "This page can't load google maps correctly" I will try later at work. is it working for anyone else?
I think you can vaguely search for members be state. As long as the members have where they are from listed. But otherwise even the mods/admins won't know. IMHO that's considered private as some members don't want others to know. Welcome aboard MNWood Glad you could join us here!
