    Good soggy morning, members. 48⁰/51⁰

I just lit the woodstove. It was warm enough to let it go out yesterday. I built a fire once the stove was cool, but didn't light it.

It started raining yesterday afternoon. It's not supposed to stop until tomorrow morning. 2+ inches of rain. Periods of downpours.

We are meeting with our financial guy this afternoon. Time to rebalance nest egg $'s.

    Be healthy

Good Morning... :coffee: ... last day of the week... We get Good Friday off... First time in 20 years... Last night was a a beautiful evening... Hung out with the boss around a firepit enjoying a adult beverage and a nice cigar...But I donated some hedge to try to help kiln and color some clay pottery... That his neighbors did... I'll make thread of it later on as soon as I get the final pictures...

Morning all. Skies are blue in places with sunshine peaking out. Fresh snow on the hills behind us from yesterday's rain. Today should be nice. I think we are firewood gathering today. Yesterday was spent at Mom's doing library stuff.

T.Jeff Veal What an awesome group! That's organization.
Sawdust Man I agree with Jeff. That stack looks great with the different colours.
MikeInMa I hope your healing is going well from the minor surgery.

    Everyone have a great day.

It is, thanks. No real discomfort. The bandage stays on for another week. Then the stitches come out.

Good morning everyone! I think we start drying out today. I have wood to split but don't want to do it in the mud.

Good morning, ya'll. Hope ya'll have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. Coldest morning we've had in a while. 37° here in the bottom, 38° on the hill in Deepstep...
Delivering a load of oak to the local restaurant, then hauling wood chip mulch for a friend. Going out to dinner with said friend and his wife this evening.

A Good Friday prayer from YouVersion Bible App...

    Jesus,

I grieve that the torture and sorrow You endured on the cross were necessary to save humanity.

Because You didn’t want me enslaved to fear, anxiety, or sin—You sacrificed Yourself so that Love could win.

It’s Love that hung upon the cross and gave up everything to rescue me. “It is finished” was a cry of victory, because You defeated everything that held me in captivity.

Because of Your sacrifice, I can experience intimacy with You forever. Thank You! Help me to know You more, and to reach people with the hope found in You.

    In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Morning all. Clear sunshiny day today. Should be this way for the next couple of days. Yesterday we went out and got a load of firewood. Unfortunately, when we got home, the Blue Jays were playing their first game of the season so...... We will unload the firewood this morning. Chores to do before Sabbath today. Might even get clothes out on the clothesline outside today. It is that kind of day.

MikeInMa Good luck with the root canal.
Sawdust Man I wondered how you managed to get up that high to sticker boards.
Chvymn99 enjoy your trip and be safe.

    Everyone have a great day.

Good morning everyone! With all the wind we've had it's about dry enough to start doing some splitting.

Had an interesting day yesterday. In afternoon I decided to go in back to start clearing some woods trails. I knew better but took the golf cart rather than the tractor or atv. There is on spot coming off a small ridge where there is a small spring so it is perpetually wet. It didn't look bad so I went through it and didn't seem to cut in much at all. Later, when I came out it was a different story. Long story short, I tried several times to get up but golf carts don't have much power or traction. After several time going up, backing down then repeat I could finally get to within about 2-3' from being able to continue but just could not get any further. That meant a walk back to the house.

I could have called someone for some help but figured I could do it on my own. Took atv, hooked om with chain and moved the cart about 4'. All was well, but now I have to take atv back then walk back to get golf cart. This sort og thing used to be very easy to do but no longer. I was super tired and when I put the cart in the barn, I closed the door and called it a day. This morning I am a bit sore.

    Good morning, members.

It's not raining!! Windy, but dry. 35⁰/54⁰ A bright moon is shining.

I need to bring some wood to the deck rack. With warmer days, we've been letting the stove go out overnight. A new fire in the AM, chases away any chills.

My root canal was OK, if that's a possible thing.

I may head to HD for some moss killer. Too much fighting the grass. Will also pickup some vole deterrent.

    Bruins hockey tonight.

Time for a winch on the golf cart? If that's your preferred way to get about, then equip it for potential needs.
