Just google them, you will see they are really good size. not uncommon to have males 20 pounds plus. Their long hair makes them look much larger. [IMG]

Bob cats have longer legs and shorter fur. These cats still say "Meow". yes, they can hold their own, but are noted for being gentle giants. Tons of cats around that are called coon cats, but most of them are mixed breed. the Real Maine Coon Cat will fetch a pretty penny as a kitten. No problems at all for finding good home for folks willing to pay the big bucks to own one.

I guess I should have said they look to be the size of bobcats.....
Does that clear it up, meow? :D

The toe grabber really was in a stinky mood this morning.

For a cat, she knows how to get her point across.

My Fuzzy is a Maine Coone type cat. He was feral for years, so don't know what he really is. In his prime he tipped the scales at 15.5 pounds. With his really long hair he looked even bigger. These days he is a scrawny 11 pounds (old age) but I still get comments about how huge he is just from people who can see him from the apartment building next door.

He is very gentle and fortunately doesn't take much care as he is a stickler on his cleaning routine. However, he does need help when he is shedding or his tummy will get matts. Pics taken summer of 2016 when he was 12-13 pounds. First one is of him next to a child's gate - he isn't overly tall, but still looks fairly big. Second is next to Rita (who is closer to the camera so looks bigger than she is in comparison).

Got it! For some reason I can't explain, we have bobcats that come awfully close to our house. I had thought of them as shy creatures who stayed away from humans. A hunter shot one not 200 ft from our house. Another one was seen in that exact spot on a later date.

And she's a swimming fool. I live a few minutes from a couple of parks on the water so she gets to swim several mornings per week.

If I could only order from them. Groupon won't accept my billing/shipping info, even after numerous "chats".
At least I see some light on the horizon for Duke. A new "Ginourmous" Midwest kennel is on it's way. He's only funky here, at the house. At the kennel in Neb. this past weekend, they loved him, he was the best. The Vet gave us some good tips-n-tricks for him, he'll be fine in no time I'm sure.:bug:

A good friend of ours put a picture of their grand daughter on FB. I got a kick out of it. I don't know what breed or breeds that dog is, but she sure is a good one.
