FYI Found/bought a couple pair of boots Made in USA Was so surprised to see "American Built" on the boot, I bought them Got a pair of Keen Braddock steel toe for work/wood cutting & Then ordered a pair of waterproof , Keen Durand Polar Shell for hiking/hunting . Been using them working in the "muskeg" at moose camp, comfortable & water proof Like them a lot (also made in the USA)
I hear you Bud , I've been buying boots online for years now with no issue's , these just came today . Not made in USA made in Romania and they make a quality boot IMO . These are replacing the ones I just wore out . Sierra Trading Post . com check them out
That's good to here , I never bought any boots or shoes online . You just order your size and the fit good huh ?
Yes I do I read the reviews , and Sierra Trading post has alerts if they run small or true to size . in my experience I've had no problems , and I have a small size 7.5 not always available in the boot I want I get an 8 and it has worked great for me . STP has a great return policy , I've never had to use it , but it's my go to site to buy boots and clothes
They are not insulated , but I will be wearing them in the cold , and my feet will get cold if I'm not moving around . They are pure leather , glove soft on the inside . I love Aloso brand boots
this same with Zappo's. I ordered something like 7 pairs of steel toed oxfords for work to try them all, then just returned the 6 pairs I didnt want back to them.
I had a pair of mic keen sandals that fell apart, thru Amazon Keen sent me a new pair , free made in Vietnam , which are still holding up Good customer service Can go to Keen web site & order thru them directly & be sure you get the most current model. Many times, Amazon sells 2-3-4 year old models of stuff at a lower price
Asolo makes a great boot, and they seem to fit true, pair to pair. I always use up the tread before the upper falls apart, I live in the 520's.
