    I think we need a Fisher thread, but can anyone ID this Fisher stove from this bad pic? Seller states it heats 4000 sq ft so my spider senses are twitching.

    The stove pictured in post #1 is a "wide body" Grandpa. (not made to Fisher specs) They were made with wider side plates in the front and modified hinge plates.
    2000 s.f. was the approximate heating capacity in an 8 foot ceiling height building with common insulation back in the '70s in Seattle Washington's climate.
    There is no Fisher stove rated to heat 4000 s.f.
