That builds up a nice layer the bugs typically don’t bother fighting through to bite you

I learned today (while wearing jeans) what annoys me the most when sawing…having a pair of pants with a hole in the knee and all the chips shoot down inside your pant leg. Yeah those jeans are shortly destined for the trash.

This type? I finally didn't get 'swamp crotch' anymore :whistle:when I switched to these from regular jeans at work when its hot. It's like torture if for some reason I have to wear regular jeans to work now, no matter the temp.

Agree, have several hole in the knee pants, always wear chaps when wearing them while sawing to avoid the funnel effect of sawdust into the shoes.

Honestly, I’ve gotten used to it. I wear boots all the time during tree work, and when firewooding in cold weather. Once the warm weather arrives, I’ll split with just the tennis shoes on. Dust rarely gets in the boots but the shoes seem to fill up pretty quickly!

Yup. If you can find the "comfort waist" buy them. Discontinued by Dickies. Flexible in a stretch waist band. If you have to do a lot on kneeling, crouching, bending etc they are worth their weight in gold.
