Congrats Dave! The 30 should be a nice fit for you, and so was the price.

Can I ask what the contributing factors were to choose the 30 over the IS?
    Was it only the price??

    My prediction:
It will work a lot better than the Ashley. The fan will allow you to get long periods of usable heat.

Long term? You will upgrade to a BK. It is a low risk move that will improve your situation. Your house will be warmer longer. When you do end up going with a BK, you will be able to sell the stove for about $500.

Dennis, it's supposed to show up in my driveway.
Funds are still only on hold at the credit union, and the HD site was down when I checked a couple minutes ago.

Awesome, I'm glad it went through! That thing is going to be a heating machine. You should be able to give it a decent test with the overnight temps we're still getting.

I don't remember if I mentioned this in this thread, but I plan to use dblwall telescoping stove pipe when the 30 gets here.
The ceiling box adapter is Selkirk.
Can I use something other than Selkirk?
I can get Duratech locally tomorrow, but will need to order the Selkirk.

Well, I've been waiting for this deal and having the money at the same time for a few years.
    The stars aligned.
The IS would be great, as would the Sirocco, but I thought the extra money could be better utilized elsewhere right now.
We need a new kitchen stove and I could use some more materials to finish the stove room.
Now, I need to hit the hardware for a 1/8th" steel rod, and a length of 1/4" gasket. :)
I have high heat tape in case I decide to adjust intake flow.
