I found a guy locally selling an Earth Stove pellet stove model tp440? I did a quick google search but can't find much about them. Anyone have experience or info on them? It's a fair price and looks to be in great shape ( including pipe )
As I remember from the "other" forum, they weren't a very good stove. Haven't been made for a long time, so a scarcity of parts is another problem. If I might inquire....what is his "fair" price for a old, discontinued stove that had issues? Did you see it run for at least 30-40 minutes?
Yeah, either lots of vert? Or a positive pressure draft fan. Neither are good. What's the price? I have bought several stoves for $300 or under including a Quadrafire Castile, Bixby Maxfire, and 2 Englander 25-PDV's (one for $300, one on a trade for basically nothing). What's your actual CL local? Post here and I will look when I have a minute.
I didn't go look at it yet. He's about 45mins away from me and i wanted to ask the pellet gurus first. It's a nice lookin stove but the more i searched, it seems that it's not what im looking for.
