Headed out to Boonville this morning. Three hour drive for me. Leaving around 630-7. Stopping in Tupper for breakfast at the Lumberjack Inn. Weather looks good for the day.

    Anyone else heading out today?

Just got back... Wow, the saw prices were unbelievable! I paid $849 for my Stihl 461 last summer-I thought it was a great deal and many of you agreed. $795 at Boonville today!! $465 for a 261...that tempted me!
Ended up buying 3 16" Oregon loops and 4 gallons of Husquvarna winter weight bar oil for $67.00.
Oh, and saw a JD grapple skidder for $280,000.

I really wanted to go but had other obligations. Going to head to the New England Forestry Expo in Essex Junction VT in the spring, maybe I'll hit Boonville again in 2018.

We went for the first time this year. We hit both Friday and Saturday. I think it's better than Essex Junction and the Bangor show, unless you're in the market for some large scale equipment.
