No way that could have been one truck/trailer load. One more trip will do it. I was able to pull around and get close this time.
That was a lot of cutting. How much mix did you burn? Your going to have to expand your stacks, or have a special stack of gold bricks at least.
Last load is unloaded. Feel like an old man right now. 2 bags of noodles. From the front; The backside is glistening in the sun, lol. Quite a bit of weight sitting there. Walked in the house feeling like this; My 2 gallon no-spill is all but empty. I have a pile of chain that needs ground too. More than likely I’ll wait till I move wood to the basement and empty some of my stacks, then fill in with these nuggets. Maybe I should put up a security camera with all that gold sitting there.
Gotta admire you're dedication to get it done. How much wood you thinking? Feel like a road trip Jason to help me with mine? Ill let you run the 500!
Yes. Just up from the Rt30/Rt94 intersection @ Cross Keys/New Oxford towards Hanover. Here's a google street view pic of it. Glad I didn't have to deal with the brush!! Really hard to judge the volume on this. Like I mentioned, I couldn't load up the trailer like normal. Most time's I judge about 1/2 cord in each (truck and trailer)but w that dang cap I hardly get much in there. Don't feel like bending over to stack it so it gets thrown in. I'm going to guess barely 2 cord playing it safe. I've run 2 500's. The one I remember the most was still on it's first tank of mix if I recall. When I hit that nail, I brought the Isocore and a sledge to try and open up that cut to ID what it was I hit. I swung 4 times on that round as hard as I could and it just bounced. Note to self, mulberry doesn't split well wet. Lol, honestly I'm pretty good this AM. I loaded up the grinder and brought it to work to sharpen chain on down time. Heck, I'm flirting with the idea of sawing down those 2 trees at the neighbors place this weekend. If I don't do that, I still have one tree bucked up at my oak honey hole to bring home. Told wife I needed to replace all the wood we burned before the summer heat sets in.
Pile of chains to rehab. Of course the one that hit metal was a brand new loop. All the left cutters touched that nail. Above is as bad as it got. And the worse rocked cutter. So far, only that one was that bad. Still have 2 more loops to get to. Small price to pay.
