Looking for a big bar, preferably a vintage roller tip, for my Stihl Contra. Something between 59" to 72" would be ideal. 404-.063, that would be fine too. But lemme know what you got. I may go all-in and just buy a new Cannon bar, bit I figured I'd poke around our own place first.......

Big Bars = Big Bucks :)
Bill G over at the AS may have something and Left Coast has some really nice GB titaniums in big sizes.

Myrtle creek saw shop in Oregon may have some. It's rich Dougan from eBay and YouTube shop talk videos.

This is the biggest bar I've ever seen. A buddy just dropped this off last night. I've got to deliver it to the end user though at the Dodgegeeks GTG in July.

Would you be ok with a Forester branded bar, or are you wanting a "name brand" bar?

Looking for either a vintage roller tip bar, Cannon, Oregon, or even a Stihl...

I have a 42" Oregon roller tip that I mounted up on the Contra yesyerday, we got the saw fired up and tuned it in the cut. But I want a bigger bar for it, 59" to 72" or bigger. Just to have it.....lol

Had several of my beef saws out yesterday, just to knock the cobwebs out of them.....

My recently repaired 064 (the one I had to weld and retap the spark plug hole), the Contra (had to totally re-tune the carburetor, now it's running great), and my ported 051....

Still gotta get my 076 put together. It may get "the treatment"....lol

Thanks for those links, jon1212! Those prices aren't bad!

I'm still looking for something a little bigger......72-84".....for display purposes ...

    Cool.

It's gotta be a couple of hundred cheaper than a Cannon of the same length.

Another thought is buy one of the 72" Forrester bars for a couple of hundred, and have it powder coated, or custom painted. Since it's for display purposes.

For display purposes what about making your own by splicing a few smaller bars together? Matching the tapper/shape might be tough but it may be possible. :)
