You have 40lbs coming. That gives you 20lbs for each tree. May or may not work, but fun all the same.
Been too busy to mess with this lately. Ok, the tree finally came down on its own. It survived multiple gun shots, 8 lbs of tannerite, axe swings, and a big zombie push. Now what do with the other 38 pounds of tannerite? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I only know one beaver around here and I’m not gonna blow that one up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well .....crap, that didn’t live up to all the hype. But it was fun keeping up with the attempt. Go drop another so it’ll hang up in a nearby tree & try again
cigarsmokingzombie looks like I could use some tannerite. This elm is fighting me. I got it stuck the other weekend. I figured with the snow storm and 50 mph winds that it would've dropped . Nope. I beavered more out from it. We'll see.
Another beaver shot. See how I bore cut into it? You can see the daylight in the kerf. It wasn't even thinking about moving. Now if I had a decent sized tractor, I'd just yank this thing down. The few branches on this dead barkless elm are stuck in sum beeches. no, not cutting the beeches.
Horkn do you happen to have a come-a-long? I have a 2 ton unit, I'd strap around that and strap the CAL to another tree and try to pull it loose. Be careful around that one.
I do have a come along. Yeah, this thing is dangerous, that's why I've left it be as it is for now. If it doesn't shake loose on its own, I'll probably use the come along to another tree.
Ok, I’m serious 5 lbs of tannerite will take care of it. I’m an expert now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We might be getting some bigger equipment into the woods. I just talked with my buddy and his sawmill guy it's willing to pay guys money for some of the varieties of trees I have. Plus I could use some of that ash to me made into lumber for my woodshed.
