Would you know what accent one of the couples in the kids show "Curious George" is from? It's up NE somewhere.

There's a Reading Ma. Everyone here says Redding. It is what it is.

In my wife and I were 1st married before gps we were going to her brothers new place. She wrote the ditections down from her brother. Take Worchester rd. I'm reading them over and over for 10 minutes before I realized she meant Wooster rd. We were in Cleveland,OH. She was originally from Boston.

All y'all Yankees sound weird. :p

I was born and raised in NE KS. My mom's family was pretty much KS/MO Yankee. My dad's parents moved to KC from a place in the Ozarks that didn't even have paved roads in town until the 70s.

I have many different words in my vocabulary. From "pop" to "youins".

Wait till Trinity South gets going on here. I'm sure he can give you a real taste of "Newfie"..................... When they get going, you almost need a translator.

I live and grew up west of wista ( Worcester )mass.

30 years ago I was on a job in Northern Alabama for a couple years. One of the women I worked with at our document control department was beside her self when she learned I wasn’t from England and actually from Massatuchits.

Just found this thread. Good stuff, eh?..Ya you betcha!

From Minnesooota here...probably similar dialect to Fargo, don't ya know.

We seem to use a lot of long vowel sounds.

I worked on an Indian Reservation in northern MN, with a whole different dialect, with many of their own unique sayings that are often similar throughout other Reservations across the northern tier of "Indian Country."
