Your Thanksgiving plans.

Raisins in a cheesecake? I've never heard of that.

 

Relaxing during the day. Going to my brothers for the dinner. Eating is at 5, but I need time to have a beer or 5. So I think we are going to go up there about 3. This year the whole family is home. First time in many years. Usually we are all together for a brunch at parents with two and their families not here because of distance they live away. Then everyone has dinner at there own house. This year all 9 kids are here with their families! So my brother offered to have it at his house. One has to work and one has to host different family at his house. But there should be about 50 of us together today. My parents are both turning 80 years old next week. Two days apart from each other. Nine kids, about 28 grand kids, and now oh 6-7 great grand kids.

 

Six tables set. And the fireplace is a burnin!

Thanksgiving went on without a hitch. Several cooks in the kitchen without incident! Two turkeys, one ham,veggies raw and cooked, biscuits, pickles, cookies, pies and on and on..... About 30 best I could count.

My Captain pulled her out. It feels good to get one out alive once in a while.

Thanks Gas but Im no hero. Just got lucky and got an awesome job. My second career.
But Im lucky enough to work work with some great guys. Some are very humbling, my Captain being one of them. He has a great family and a lot to lose. Couldn't tell it by watching him in action.
