Not much planned other than a party Saturday evening. Lots of work to do around the house.

Right where I want to be.
Like Grizz, I'll be crashing a family reunion somewhere.
    J/K.
No plans. Granddaughter (one of em' who's been visiting) is going home tomorrow, so it's just us.
Might be nice to just chill.
    Maybe I'll grill something.

Washing the windows. Put out the Flag. Then, making Sour Cream and Dill Potato Salad, some hot dogs, green salad, watermelon and iced tea with mint from the garden, maybe some pickled eggs. I will listen to J.P. Sousa's "Stars and Stripes Forever" and then it will officially be Independence Day for me!
Usually hotter'n H, so if I don't vegetate in the garden and on the porch, I will be watching "The Bucket List" inside. Bought that at the Walmart, haven't seen it yet.
Also, it's kind of corny, but I like to wear red white and blue.

Wife's family is having a party at the lake. Hopefully I can get enough done to make it down there.

Nap, maybe grill something. Who knows. There is a big family gathering, but it involves walking on a lawn that slopes. Not up to sitting in the sun. Will watch fireworks on TV. I would go to the beach and sit under an umbrella, but the wife will slap me up the side of my head if she catches me looking at the "scenery".

Why not? Find a random grill and cook up something.

Yeah, a nice pair of Oakleys will take care of the head slapping (unless you like that kind of thing)

Just set up a fireworks "care-package" for my friends kids. They'll have fun.
At this time, we're going to see how much tannerite it takes to open up a beaver dam.
    And then, beer.....

Good news-- the truck is running nice and smooth and we will be taking it to Wisconsin on Thursday. Tomorrow I will give it a nice oil change and we will give it a good cleanup out. Hoping for a fun time.

East Coast weather for the 4th is getting sketchy. There is a hurricane forming up that is projected to run up the East Coast. There is a front coming in from the West. What next?:headbang:
