    And keep a copy of the list/photos of all your stuff somewhere besides your house. Like on a USB stick at work.

    Make sure you document the serial numbers as well. Photos are a great idea, but a lot of MS290s look the same, so it would be difficult to prove any given one is yours.

    Great post. Documentation, written and photographic is an excellent idea for any of your possessions, chainsaw and otherwise. No telling what creeps will do to your stuff.
