That's cool. I've always loved the sound of the acoustic guitar. I have one, try to play it sometimes. I am wildly unsuccessful at playing, but still try.
Agreed. Some of the talent we have seen on the streets over the years in Ottawa, Ontario was really impressive. A few times we stopped and listened to them for a half hour straight. But then I needed another beer, and there are open air pubs all around. What's a thirsty one to do?
My wife is from Nova Scotia and when I visited Halifax one summer the 'buskers' were in town. They are street performers that travel around the country in the summer time.
If you watch the people and his hands, the video was actually sped up a bit (quite a bit when you watch people in the glass) Not taking away from this guys talent. Just my observation, from watching the window and not him. (Don't know after watching it again, but lots of people seem to blow by the window /reflection? But I am still stunned.) Edit x2- I am now stumped. Some people walk by super fast, others a standard pace? I give up. Good video and good guitar player
There might be some curve in that glass making the people look like they move faster at certain times and/or angles. If anything the speed varies, but the pitch stays the same, and his picking stays in time. My guess is crappy cell phone video and concave glass. I believe it is real time. I've know a few people that could play that fast. Even so fast the hands appear blurred, and that's live in person.
One of my friends can rip it pretty good although not quite that good. He closes his eyes leans back and tears it up….
Had a beer, but wasn't toasted. If you watch the window the entire video, there are several times when people seem to be moving extremely fast?? No? Most times the reflection is fine. But at times, it looks very sped up. Justwatcjes it again (not a single beer). Again, dude is gettin down on those strings. But I still can't stop looking in the glass.
Classical guitar players can play very fast. I call them spider fingers the way the move up and down the neck. Paco Di Lucia comes to mind if you can check out his videos.
