And the more their taken out, the faster they breed. Unreal.

I like them. Keeps the rest of the small animal population down.

My wife hates it when the coyote hunters come in the winter months. She likes to hear them but the past couple years we don't hear them much. I did get one picture on a trail cam a week or so ago.

So when the hunters come across them it's more for population control?
You can't use them for anything else, can you?

They're hide is worth a few bucks (around $35 bucks this season). Not much else to do with them. Most folks dont mind them but when they start taking out your chickens, ducks, small yard animals and even dog most change their minds about them. We've got a huge yote problem here in SJ. I see quite a few of em every day at work. My uncle has a cabin in NY near Norwich and when we visit, you can hear em howling just about every night.

"when we visit, you can hear em howling just about every night." ... same at our cabin. We hear them every time we stay a night. They're down over the hill about 1/2 mile. See scat once in a while so we know they come up too. When we camped there in 2008 with our son & honey, they had their first huskie pup with them. Ole boy sounded just like a fawn crying and squawkin'... I was sure it would call them up but, didn't see any. Wouldn't have been good as the kids were sleeping in a tent.
