Yet Another Funny Picture Thread (3rd attempt)

Yep. I've had mine hit before.

 

Knew a lad who had his post and box flattened by some numb skull with a car not 1 but 4 times in 2 months. His solution to solving that problem was to bury 6' of 3" steel I BEAM in a cement filled post hall. He then boxed it in with some weathered barn wood. to look like a wooden post. Two weeks later they found the idiot's car
horse shoed around the post with two holes threw the windshield. Problem solved.

 

I'm pretty sure that's not true

 

A local deputy sheriff told me it was illegal to put a mailbox on such a post that could cause substantial damage or injury to a vehicle or person. He then said, however there is no law against putting such a post on either side of the mailbox post as long as it was not connected to it.

 

We had a druggie down the road here with an adopted kid that was not from here so to say. Moron kid and his buddy started smashing mailboxes. After the third time for mine I just loaded one with scrap metal. The post was 3 inch pipe drove about 8 feet in the ground, it weren’t going anywhere. Had a dent in the box one morning and half a Louisville slugger in the ditch. Never had another issue. The not your daddy father went to prison and later died of too much self medicating himself in non legal stuff. Good family.
