Someone agreed to lease a farmers ground to set out duck/goose decoys or possibly the decoys were put out without permission. The individual either didn’t pay, get their decoys off the land in the agreed upon time frame or remove the decoys when told they didn’t have permission to put them there.

Basically I believe that it’s not the owner doing the damage but a tenant who has leased the ground for crop purposes. A landowner has to read/negotiate a lease/renters agreement very carefully to insure that they keep control of what happens on rented/leased ground. It’s becoming a common problem around here with older & uninformed property owners.


The owner/leaser got whizzed off & was dealing with matters in their own way.

 

......or for the change I had left from a hundo after the last time I gassed up the truck.
