Those are pretty good, and lots of them I hadn't seen before. But the quote above isn't 100% accurate....lots of those folks have pasture ornaments. Everyone talks smack about a boat. A boat will sit there and not "eat" or drink a thing unless you use it, and you don't have to worry about fences or vets/mechanics if you don't want to. A dam horse.....well that's just taking up resources that should be making beef.

I Have to highly disagree with you on this one, with one exception, if your boat is sitting in your yard, on a trailer, and doing nothing. My last boat cost me $5000.00 a year, (Just to own) because I couldn't bring it home, (way to big) and the storage, Insurance and marina fees were a tad over $5000.00 a year! :emptywallet::emptywallet::emptywallet: Then, that's not Including any electric hook up you may want to the boat for the winter. I didn't need that, I drained my water and sewer tanks. So, it's all depending on the size...

Yes, I am talking about a boat in the yard. I don't know anyone with so much money and a boat so big they have to board it somewhere!

I wonder if his neighborhood has covenants regardless of the size of the boat?

I keep a 14’ Jon boat at my sons house because I don’t have room. Does that count ?

Hahaha, sure it can count. And that boat don't cost you a thing sitting there, assuming your son doesn't charge you room and board for it!

Out here on the coast, it's kinda the norm unless you have a trailered boat. Towns are not fond of boats in driveways or leaving them on the streets.
