Sun spots put out a specific type of radiation that ionizes our upper atmosphere. The more ionization, the more of your signal gets reflected back to earth. With less ionization, more of your signal energy passes right through the upper atmosphere and keeps right on going out into space.

No worries there, EVW! I like this place non-politicized, and if my comment started leading it in the other direction, I apologize to all! :tip:

I'm not ready for winter at all. I've already been burning in the house for ten days. Didn't stop burning until July 3rd this year. Just the same, all my wood is, and had been hoarded.
I am ready to quit grilling, time to show my genius with soups, stews, and various Chilis.

I've been hammered by them this year. Every roof, had been good for three stings at least. Saturday I was bucking in the woods and stmoped on a nest underneath a lig I was bucking. Got hit twice in the left pit.:headbang: too dry to grab the drip torch!

Quit grilling??? The only time I've ever done that is when there was 4' of snow in the entirety 9f the back yard, and the grill was literally just a snow bump.

That reminds me of my brother. He had his grills right out of the dining room window. He leaves the screen out all winter. Nice being a bachelor.

Lol I wouldn't go to that extent. It's on my patio, and I clear that whole thing.
