What, you didn't want to try the old pickup truck on the piece of lumber bread breaking trick?

didn’t do the 2x4… but had my buddy run his 1 ton diesel up over the side wall and didn’t even phase it. We had to work it this morning to get it off…

The bead is designed to lock down tighter when you tried to pull it down like that (so it doesn't roll off as easily when taking a corner with a low tire) it takes getting on top of the bead, right at the wheel to effectively slide it down the wheel...and even then they will give you double barrel middle fingers sometimes!

I used that on the skinny jet ski trailer tires just a couple months ago.

Ok I see that bread not bead.

Yeah, I've never had that truck trick without a piece of lumber to get a hard edge right next to the rim to pop it.

Works like a charm. But the wood splitter and grapple work better lol

I'm surprised I haven't used my splitter as a bead breaker yet. I've used it as a press many times.

ATV wheels are the worst. 20 year old tires on ATV wheels with that bead rolled inside the wheel... :headbang:

Well I figured I'd update this... The tire is still holding air. So thanks for all the help and insights. :handshake:
