I don't think it would matter. They probably wouldn't know the difference...or care... Really I think TSC and harbor freight carry about the same quality stuff. Only difference is TSC wants you to think its worth more. They are way too expensive on a lot of their stock and they really don't have anything you can't get somewhere else.

I just replaced a busted ash handle on my big HF cant hook. Made the new handle out of an ironwood trunk, I'm betting there's around 50 rings in that little trunk. It turned out nice, I'll have to post up an "after" pic when I get home..... Much stronger than that POS the hook came with, it had busted off right at the hook back when my buddy he bought it new, he gave me the hook. How do you like my custom-made tailstock extension mount? Made that out of white oak......lmao.....
