Looks like the ole boy picked the wrong family completely. Said after he finally got away, he went over to another relative of the first woman he tried to rob, and was "detained" there... ... ... one for the good guys.
An idiot for sure. Leave one where he was getting beat up and went to another. Some learn slow. Some never learn. Hard times do not give license to rob or even to threaten. Most of us have gone through some hard times before or at least I know that I have. And I do admit that one time I had thought about stealing. Thankfully, that was a fleeting though. I got out of those times without doing stupid things like that idiot did and so can others.
Still wondering how people think that a home invasion/robbery is a good idea? How stupid do you have to be to think that it's a good/workable plan? It is fairly well known in my parts that "If you are found here at night, you'll be found here in the morning...by the coroner." I would totally expect to take a bullet or ten after forcing my way into someone's home. This is a true deterrent of legally armed citizens IMO. Again, unsure how someone could think that this type of action will work out well??
Lol, this is why I had to start locking my door cause a friend would walk in and I would leap up out of a knap and grab gun all in one swoop and ya glad I never hurt my friends but ya I had to start locking the door so no one could just walk in hap hazedley...
Everybody we know just walks in. The dogs let me know before they even get to the door, so I can get up to see who it is. Haven't needed a gun............yet.

I put in one of those door bells with camera in it. It has infrared so it can sort out some of what it is looking at. Also you can select the area being watched.
The crazy guy on the left wouldn't of thought twice about taking a hunk outta anyone at the door. But now that its just Emma and the Blur brothers pretty sure they would all just open the door for them.
Our 4-H club was at a Gunshow last weekend raising money for our club. The guy next to us was selling surplus soft body armor. The clientele looking and buying his product confirms my choice of keeping an AR15 with 77gr TAP as my bedside defense firearm. I keep electronic ear pro on the stock.
