Hmm. And I suppose they don't offer an oversize slug for the other jug he has either. I bought an OEM piston for a 362XP Special and I thought it was a tad pricey myself. $90+

Meteor makes a 064 piston that fits Tue big bore. I think you'll need a thick gasket or machine the chamber.

Wow, lots of potential ways to go with this and lots of good advice. I now have the 52mm big bore cylinder and the 50mm original Xtorq cylinder. Switched and mixed and matched intake set ups to mate the bb kit to my carb.
Thanks to a link someone sent I could get an oem 50mm Xtorq piston and rings for around $100.
Or get another 52mm piston and clean up the jug and try again, checking for leaks of course.
I felt it had some more power (for two
tanks) but it went through fuel way quicker too.
I'm thinking about putting it back to oem if I can lightly hone the cylinder. I'll clean up both cylinders and go from there!?
Thanks again for all the great help, I need it!

You don't need much in the way of tools to try and clean that cylinder up.

Thanks for sending those. The xtorq piston appears to have cut outs that mate up with jug. Thats what I meant about matching piston. I think I've seen them called stato ports? So the xtorq piston is like you said $90+. Im going to clean up both jugs and get a cheap piston for bb and the oem for xtorq. Return this one to stock and look for an older 372 needing rebuild.
Im a farmer so Im pretty handy, but not a saw tech. My saws usually run forever, good maintenance and fuel.
    Thanks again!

Maybe a jonsered 2065 or 2071/2171 would be a good fit for that big bore kit? I'm working on a 2171 right now that spit a crank bearing clutch side and that bb kit is the same.

I would think your less likely to find a Jred kit than a Husky kit?

I know that but my point is many folks won't market to jred as its such a small market share?

You never know. The lesser demand just might leave that one NOS part on the shelf just when you need it.

Depends on your regional location, around here there is still a lot of JRed dealers, much less market share for Husky. Tractor supply switched to Jonsered on the consumer level market as well.

Anyways, long story short both Husky and Jonsered are fun because of the amount of parts that swap between the two.
